Fall brings with it pumpkin and that is a gift we are happy to receive. These cookies are a fan favorite, moist yet dense with the perfect balance of pumpkin, chocolate chunks and chai tea (caffeine free!) Pumpkins are powerhouses and full of nutrition. Their seeds are great to eat during the first half of your cycle (when you start bleeding) because they contain zinc, which helps to support healthy progesterone production and help to correct estrogen excess that many women struggle with. They also contain magnesium which, as we know, can offer support with bloating, headaches, cramping and more (period related or not!) Pumpkin puree, or the meat, is a rich source of beta-carotene (vitamin A), which helps to stop heavy bleeding during menstruation and tastes oh-so-good. Functional cookies that are great for any season or phase.
